The use of information technology (IT), such as computers and (smart) phones, is an indispensable part of our society. It not only makes our everyday lives easier, but is also a fundamental part of our education and necessary for participation in many areas of life. However, not everyone can afford a computer or a (smart) phone, which leads to discrimination and even exclusion from various areas of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here we make a contribution for more equal opportunities, organized by the usd Social Responsibility Circle. Thus, we donated 13 tower computers and 13 monitors to Computerwerk Deutschland e. V.<\/a>. This donation is the beginning of a long-term donation cooperation in which we will donate hardware no longer needed by usd at regular intervals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Computerwerk Darmstadt e. V. is a charitable and non-profit organization whose aim is to repair and pass on computers to people in need and non-profit organizations.
