For the third time in a row, Goethe University Frankfurt and usd AG joint forces to hold a seminar for more security. On February 4th, the business informatics master students attending the seminar presented the results of their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The presentations formed the conclusion of the seminar \u201cCyber Security \u2013 strategies, analytics and technical support systems\u201d, which had been offered by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang K\u00f6nig from Goethe University Frankfurt and Dr. Kai Schubert from usd AG this winter semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Based on this year\u2019s topics \u201cSecurity Awareness\u201d, \u201cSecurity Management\u201d and \u201cCollaborative Pentesting\u201d, the students had to critically adress questions regarding strategies, SETA programs and collaboration in the context of cyber security. In order to do this, they interviewed experienced consultants, for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Dr. Wolfgang K\u00f6nig explains the objectives of such project seminars and their importance for the students: \u201cThe threats in the cyber security world are growing in number and quality. That\u2019s why it\u2019s so important zu raise awareness, test the effectiveness of security mechanisms and review the contributions we can make to society. Experts of the present sharing their knowledge with future experts is only the first step towards that goal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe presentation today was a great closing event for our seminar. You could see that there was a great the interest in the students\u2019 work by the number of usd colleagues who were attending\u201d Dr. Kai Schubert reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
