Contribution to Alliance for Cyber Security: usd AG again strengthens the network's IT security competence

2. May 2023

Since 2020, usd AG has been engaging as a partner in the Alliance for Cyber Security (Allianz für Cyber-Sicherheit, ACS) and is this year again actively involved in the network of the Germany-wide initiative. With currently almost 7000 participating companies and institutions, this initiative of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) aims to strengthen the cyber security of Germany as a business location.

"We truly believe that cyber security only succeeds when many are committed to it," says Mareike Gass, Head of CST Academy. "The partnership allows us to bring our many years of experience and expertise to the community to take an important step towards more security."

This year, within the framework of the partnership, usd offers participants of the Alliance for Cyber Security free seats on the two-day usd advanced seminar "Understanding a Hacker's Mind" on June 20-21, 2023. The Security Analyst*s at usd HeroLab will show the participants, with the help of theory and a lot of practice, which intentions, methods and tools a hacker uses, so that they can protect their systems against such attacks in the best possible way.

Stephan Neumann, Head of usd HeroLab, adds: "I am happy that our partner contribution in form of the hands-on seminar gives us the opportunity to raise awareness for IT security among small and medium-sized companies as well".
