usd AG has once again successfully received worldwide accreditation as an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC). As a result, the scanning services delivered through the usd PCI Platform continue to meet the Council’s requirements and are officially authorized to perform ASV scans required in accordance with PCI DSS.
With this renewed accreditation, usd AG has not only been among the accredited ASVs continuously for nearly 20 years, but also continues to be one of only two accredited ASV companies in Germany today.
Organizations that process, store, or transmit payment card data are required to conduct regular external vulnerability scans as part of their PCI DSS compliance. These scans may only be performed by accredited ASVs. As part of the annual re-accreditation process, the scanning solution must demonstrate through extensive testing that it is reliably detect vulnerabilities, assess them accurately, and document findings in a transparent and traceable manner.
Through the usd PCI Platform, clients can manage their security scans entirely online, review scan results, and access detailed reports. The platform also provides capabilities such as false positive management and re-scanning.
Successfully completing the re-accreditation process once again confirms the quality and reliability of our usd PCI Platform.
