usd at Internet Security Days 2018

3. September 2018

usd AG participates in the Internet Security Days at Phantasialand in Brühl on September 21, 2018. Daniel Breidenbroich, Senior Security Consultant at usd AG, will speak on the topic “How anonymous is anonymous?”.
Big Data as one of the big business models of the future gives reason to take a closer look at the topic of anonymization. In his lecture, Breidenbroich will address anonymization in contrast to pseudonymization. He raises the question of how such measures should to be designed in order to be effective in times in which ever larger amounts of data are being collected and analyzing processes continuously optimized.
On 20 and 21 September 2018, experts and end users with an interest in internet security will gather at Phantasialand Brühl near Cologne for the eighth Internet Security Days organized by iX, heise events and eco to inform themselves about current developments and future trends in IT security and practice-oriented use cases. In addition to keynotes from renowned speakers, the ISD offers focused security sessions and workshops (e.g., on the GDPR) as well as a platform for professional networking.
