27. March 2026

FIBE Berlin is one of Europe’s leading finance and tech festivals. On 15 and 16 April 2026, it will bring together professionals and executives from the finance, technology, and start-up sectors at CityCube Berlin. The event will focus on current developments in digitalization, regulation, and innovation within the financial sector.

In addition to our involvement as a sponsor of the event, we will also be represented at FIBE with expert presentations.

When Security Becomes a Competitive Advantage

Our colleague Arvid Mukherjee, Managing Security Consultant, will deliver a keynote speech on 15 April titled: “Forget Survival Mode. It’s Time to Dominate: Before Hackers Do It for You.” The presentation will demonstrate why even highly sophisticated FinTech systems are not a guarantee of security. Using realistic attack scenarios, he will show how quickly innovation becomes vulnerable and why resilience must be built into the architecture from the very beginning, not as an afterthought, but as a strategic competitive advantage.

Following Dora, the Next Regulatory Challenge Is Just Around the Corner: Lessons for Scalable Compliance

On 16 April, Dr. Christian Schwartz, Board Member usd Security Consulting, will host a masterclass titled: “Forget Survival Mode. It’s Time to Dominate: Turn DORA Into Your Secret Weapon.” In his presentation, he will review completed DORA implementations and demonstrate what organizations can learn from them for future regulatory requirements. The focus is on reusable compliance frameworks, risk-based management of third parties, and coordinated testing. The goal is to implement regulatory requirements with less friction and greater strategic value for companies in the future.
