usd AG accredited as Software Security Framework Assessor Company

2. June 2020

usd AG has been accredited by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) as a Software Security Framework Assessor Company and is now officially listed on the PCI SSC website. This enables usd AG to assess and certify software products throughout Europe according to the Secure Software Standard of the SSF.

Torsten Schlotmann, Managing Security Consultant at usd AG: “The Software Security Framework and the Secure Software Standard therewith will replace the PCI PA-DSS as the security standard for payment applications that store, process or transmit credit card data in the medium term. Of course, we know that the introduction of a new standard presents new challenges for companies that have had their applications certified according to PA-DSS up to now. We are well positioned to support our customers in this process and look forward to showing them the opportunities that a certification according to the SSF standards offers.”

Do you have any questions about the Software Security Framework or need support for a smooth transition to the new standard? Our colleagues will be happy to help you. Simply contact us at +49 6102 8631-190 or by email at pci@usd.de.
