26. April 2023

On April 25, 2023, Jan Kemper, Head of Security Audits at usd AG, held a guest lecture at Paderborn University. As part of the lecture Methods of Information Security Management, he gave students practical insights into the topic of information security. The students thus got the opportunity to learn more about current compliance requirements, challenges companies face during the implementation as well as current issues in the field of cyber security.

For many years, usd AG has been involved in presentations, workshops and lectures at various universities in order to convey cyber security in a practical manner. "The exchange with young professionals in the field of information security is more important than ever," states Jan Kemper. "Cyber security and the corresponding lectures are becoming more and more popular at universities, but there is often a lack of practical examples in addition to the theoretical content. That's why I'm happy to be able to pass on our experience as auditors and consultants to the students. The keen interest in the lecture is a clear sign that we are on the right track with our commitment."
